The case I got with the first order was a white one in which you can place the travel sized spray bottle. It functions with a twist motion to stow it completely in the case and when you twist again, the top will come out for you to be able to spray the perfume or cologne. It is very easy and great to put into your purse. Also, you can switch it out with the other bottles you will get in the months following.

Benefits
If you are looking to buy a new perfume you might want to consider trying Scentbird first. You don’t have to commit to a full bottle of one scent and can try a lot of different ones. Also, you might not even need the whole bottle they send you in the month but might be left with a bit extra. Over time this will allow you to get a collection of different scents to choose from every day.
Especially if you want to order a luxury perfume online and don’t go into a store to smell it beforehand, it can be hard to really image the scent even if you read reviews and have heard a description from friends or family. But even if you do try a perfume in a store, it is different to try it one day compared to a whole month. You might realize that one scent is not for you on a daily basis or that in the store there were too many other scents flying in the air.
The little atomizer bottles are also perfect for traveling if you don’t want to carry a full size bottle of perfume with you.
Overall, I have been very happy with the service and the fragrances that were delivered to me smell great. Over time, they even send more cases in different colors, which makes it easy and convenient to keep one in different bags. I would recommend carrying the bottles in cases when on the go because I would be a little scared to hit my bag on something and the bottle cracking and spilling in the bag. The case definitely looks cute but also protects.
I have been able to create a fragrance collection of different designer perfumes because I personally don’t use too much of the products every month as I still also have my old perfume I sometimes use. I love that I can trust that the sample I receive will be from authentic fragrances. You can also get samples from other companies or websites where I was more skeptical if the sample there will be from the actual perfume of the designer I want to try or if it would be diluted or similar.
Any negatives?
I want this Scentbird review to be objective and also mention some negatives of the subscription service. The main thing that I didn’t like was that I really wanted to try a specific fragrance that they were carrying but unfortunately this specific one was never available when I checked to add it to my queue. For me this only happened with one scent but I do have to say I was a bit frustrated about it. I am hoping it will get back in stock and I will be able to get it to try.
Another small issue for me that I wanted to mention was that there have been shipment delays but it didn’t happen all the time.
This service is not for you if you are more interested in niche perfumes like . I wish they had some options for popular ones for those as I tried to find a website where I could get samples of a few. But they do have a lot of different luxury fragrances.
How to cancel Scentbird?
You have to know that Scentbird automatically renews every month unless you cancel. If you are not satisfied anymore or maybe you have enough of a collection to want to pause, you will need to cancel your subscription.
You can also pause your subscription if you don’t want to cancel right away.
If you choose to cancel, go to your account page and click “Request Cancellation”. They will ask for a reason but it should work right away. Just make sure you don’t click any button that says “not now” and don’t pause if you don’t intend to continue.
Verdict
This subscription service is perfect for you if you want to experience and try different fragrance brands. I do believe that as a customer you can trust that the samples are authentic. I never had problems withcustomer service but you should be sure as to which subscription option you choose and to change it if you want to get less or more product samples.
